Since 1927 the Alexandria Police Association has been a major part of the lives of the men and women of the Alexandria Police Department. The Association continues to work for better pay, benefits and retirement issues.

Membership is open to all sworn and non-sworn employees of the Alexandria Police Department, persons closely associated with the Police Department, and Retired employees.

Police Association membership dues:
Full membership - $7.50 per pay period
Associate membership - $2.50 per pay period
Honorary membership – dues waived
